The AERL, in partnership with the City of London, is delighted to invite its members to a post-COP debrief ‘COP26 legacy and next steps: how can the public sector and the financial services industry collaborate to tackle the Climate Crisis?’

The event will take place in the format of a high-level panel discussion chaired by Damian Nussbaum, Executive Director at the City of London. The session will provide a timely opportunity to discuss what the summit has achieved, what challenges remain and will explore four big questions in the process:

– How can we finance transition and growth?

– How can we build a global playbook?

– How can we price carbon and nature?

– How can we mobilise investment into emerging and developing economies?

The City of London is at the heart of the UK-based international financial and related services industry, and the City of London Corporation works to promote and enhance the City’s status and effectiveness as a world-leading global centre for finance and business. It aims to support the competitiveness and growth of City business, engaging closely with business and policy-makers on issues affecting the business environment, economic growth and the global competitiveness of UK-based financial, professional and related business services.
